Inkster School, situated on
Inkster Boulevard, bears the name of one of Manitoba's oldest and most
distinguished families. Officially opened on November 1, 1949, this one storey
building was built of the most modern and up to date design of the day. Today,
the school continues to serve the community as a Nursery to Grade 6 school, with
an Autism and Adaptive Skills Center. Inkster School also houses and independent
Day Care (Inkster Community Child Care) and a parent-run Lunch Program.
