Teacher Links

All parents of Inkster School are members of the Parent Advisory Council, and are invited to attend the monthly meetings. 

The Council is involved in the development of activities which will:

bulletobtain the best for each child, according to his/her academic, athletic, mental, physical and social needs
bulletfoster racial and cultural understanding of all groups
bulletassist in creating a safe neighbourhood environment for the physical well-being of the children
bulletfoster high ideals of citizenship and patriotism
bulletmake itself aware of current school policy, procedure, curricula, finance, facilities, etc. to offer input into these critical areas in an advisory capacity
bulletcontribute to a sense of community in the local school neighbourhood
bulletcommunicate educational information and special events to the parents and area residents
bulletadvise and initiate adult activities and youth activities in the school and community
bulletadvise on the use of community resources and agencies to support the educational program and meet community needs
bulletsupport evening recreational programs for children and adults.
