Services for occupational therapy are provided in the same manner as those for physiotherapy. The role of the occupational therapist is to look at the functional capabilities of students with disabilities. This includes such things as the physical handling of materials and management of self-care skills (dressing, feeding). Occupational therapy intervention can take the form of modifying methods, adapting equipment or providing specific intervention for skill development. Team work is very important in the development of programs for students with disabilities.
