Steven Price, a millionaire, invites 5 people for his wifes birthday party at an old institute for the insane. He also offered 1 million dollars each to whoever survives the night at the old loony bin. Steven price is a theme park mastermind. He likes scaring the pants out of his viewers. The building was rumored to be haunted., because a long time ago the mentally insane people set the place on fire with everyone in it, including themselves. What the guests dont know is that Steven Price rigged the building with his own tricks. But what Steven Price doesnt know is that the place is really haunted.
First scenes of this movie are very interesting and wickedly done. Most parts of the movie are freaky and gruesome, thats why its only good for Halloween. The ending was very cheesy. Thats what I hated about it, the ending really sucked! My favorite scenes in this movie are when the characters go in the basement. The basement is full of horrifying scenes. The story of this movie is interesting. It is a remake of William Casltes1959 original classic. Though the story was good and the special effects are amazingly done, the acting and the action was missing. It wasnt that scary, it was just freaky.
I would advise you to go see this movie, but dont expect the movie to scare you, its only going to freak you out. I dont think there will be a part 2 of this movie, but it would be entertaining.
Most of the parts are good but there were the dull parts.

Mary Katherine Gallagher (Shannon) has only one goal in life, and this is to become a superstar and to get passionately kissed by Sky Cullagun (Ferrel).
Shannon fit the role perfectly. The movies contained lots of humorous actions and phrases. The plot was interesting and unique. There was room for a sequel. Its a "I laughed so hard I almost soiled myself" kinda movie.

(Starring Edward Norton and Brad Pitt):

"I want you to hit me as hard as you can", I guess this movie hit me as hard it could because I was ready to fall asleep after 20 minutes of it. I was more worried about what the weather outside was going to be so I could get out of the movie theater already.
The critics might have liked this movie, but what is so good about a bunch of guys beating the heck out of each other? This movie is a waste of time. I cant say it was a waste of money because I didnt pay to get in, I also didnt waste a pass to get in, the manager of the theater just let me in. This is a bad sign because the managers just dont let anyone in if its a movie that is breaking the box office. And it is also a bad sign if there are only two people in the theater.
I know this movie has more to it than just guys fighting. It is also about the hardships of life. And how people waste their life one minute at a time. In this movie Edward Norton had a boring job, he was stressed out and, he was bored with his life. And with just one fight with Tyler (Brad Pitt), he started seeing things differently. And then they started attracting people and pretty soon they made a Fight Club. I think Fight Club its just a metaphor for a Club for the unwanted. They released their anger by fighting and they get some adrenaline rush after they fight and they feel good.
I wouldnt advise you to go see this movie, because its dull and it isnt entertaining. And why would I advise you to go if I didnt even finish the movie (it was that bad that I left).

Usually I would stay for a movies to watch it from beginning to end, but the movie sucked so badly that I left in the middle of it. The action was mild, and room for a sequel? No. It was a "who cares how it sends" kinda movie.
