Dear Mom,
I'm having a great time on Mars. We landed on
Mars yesterday. Mars is covered in thick red dust and it has
craters and mountains. It is the only planet like Earth. I miss
you already. It's only been three days since I saw you. I'll send
you a piece of Mars in two days. The other astronauts said we can't
start digging till Thursday. I'll write back to you in two days.
