Dear Mom and Dad,
I arrived safely on Venus just two days ago. I had a really rough landing with all the dust and rocks all over.
Did you know that Venus gets so hot during the daytime that it could melt a lead cannonball? Or did you know that Venus is the closest planet to Earth, but it does not have any oceans or human life like Earth. Can you believe that Venus's temperature rises to 484 degrees celsius on the side facing the sun. I'm finding that it is really rocky and dusty on the planet Venus.
Well I have to go and check out the rest of this planet. Bye!
