Kappen
One Sunday afternoon, I was given a phone call from the President of the United Nations requesting me and my crew to fly to a newly discovered planet named Kappen. There is a warp hole which will take me and my crew only five months to get to Kappen rather than three years. Also , scientists have found that Earth is shockingly low on natural resources, so humans and animals only have five years before they are all extinct. I asked my friends Eric, Derek, Jeremy and Alec to be my crew and surprisingly none of them declined. As we started off, all I could think of is what Kappen would be like. When we were coming closer to the worm hole a monstrous spaceship came up beside ours and rammed us past the worm hole so they could shoot us down. Luckily we had defence shields so the shots didn't damage the ship except that we flew for an hour before we saw the worm hole again. We finally made it through the worm hole and were getting very anxious because we were closing in on the planet. Once we landed we started running down into a valley with a colossal village at the foot. It seemed their time was five times faster than ours, in other words when 5 years passes on Earth, 1 year pass on Kappen. Kappen has 6 months and each has 15 days. The planet looked fantastic from where we were. Everywhere we looked it seemed like an unknown creature to man was praising us. We didn't understand but the creatures were so miraculous. We left the animals and walked into a giant hut. We asked permission from the village leader if we could live on the other side of this gigantic planet while they had the other. I forgot mention this earlier but Kappen is the size of 2 Jupiters, which means it's tremendous. The tribe leader said "You may, on one condition, you must not do anything offensive to our home planet." We agreed and left with a statement saying "You may live on Kappen." As we left the amazing planet and went through the worm hole we wished we could just stay on Kappen instead of returning back to Earth. We finally made it back. We immediately went to the United Nations and reported. The Canadian Representative said "Your mission was successful so in honor of your voyage, we award you with this Medal Of Honor." Then we flew back to Winnipeg, Mb and had a huge party at my house. (Of course without a chaperone or alcohol, but with tons of pop and video games). THE END! |
