Kappen

The phone rang. It was the United Nations telling my friends and I that we are going to save the Earth by exploring Kappen for natural resources. Scientists have found a space warp that leads to Kappen. My friends and I are going to leave soon. We are taking a small rocket into the warp and landing on Kappen.
We will have 1 year until we have to come back to Earth.
It will take 5 months to get to Kappen. So we have 2 months to
explore and gather the natural resources and then we have to
come back which will take another 5 months. We will leave in 2004 – 2005. The kids coming are Shade and Plex, who are both very brilliant. We'll be leaving the launch site.The rocket is ready, we will leave at dawn.
Today is the day we leave Earth and go to Kappen. Blast
off! We were heading to the space warp when suddenly, a meteor shower struck our rocket, so we stayed on an asteroid for the time being. When the meteor shower stopped, we headed for the space warp. It was eerie, but we went in. 5 months passed and we made it out and we landed safely on Kappen.
We explored the planet for 2 months getting the natural resources, repairing the rocket and living there. We found tons and tons of natural resources in 1 week, but strange objects were lurking as we were searching for more resources. As the objects came closer, we thought we were doomed when actually, they were kids like us. We made peace with them very quickly and even became friends.
They lead us to a secret passage with more natural resources because they saw some resources in our hands. They communicated by sending brain waves and they said they would help us look . We thought that it was an unthinkable way of communicating. 2 months have passed and we got the extra fuel from the storage and put it in our rocket. We got in and we were ready to go, when suddenly we noticed that someone is missing. We stopped the engine, hopped out and looked for our missing team-mate.
We told the kids of Kappen that one of us is missing. They told us that they would help. We searched and searched, but we couldn't find him. Then we heard a noise coming around the corner. It was Plex, our missing team mate and he was fighting against a dreadful man-eating plant. The kids of Kappen told us how to defeat the plant. They told us that there was some flint just beside the plant. We made a plan.
We distracted the plant by throwing rocks at it, while the Kappen kids got the flint. They were almost there, when another plant just burst out of the ground. Now there were 2 plants. We all ran in different directions and hid. We looked back at the plants and noticed a piece of flint on the ground. I quickly picked it up and got a stick. I made fire and threw it exactly between the 2 plants and burned both of them. We quickly got back to the rocket and blasted off into space heading to the space warp, but an enormous, revolting space alien showed up. We threw a distress signal in space and then the kids of Kappen came and shot the alien with a net and pulled it far away. We thanked them with chocolate and they thought it was scrumptious.
As we were entering the warp, the Kappen kids waved good-bye. 5 months passed and we made it out of the warp. We headed down to Earth, reported to the United Nations and saved the planet. The United Nations rewarded us with lots of money and a fantastic, luxury mansion. People thought it was enthralling. We went in, explored the mansion and after that, we watched a movie.
