My Journey to Kappen

By Nicole

One day, I was at home with my friends Jessie and Kaitlyn. The phone rang. My mom answered the phone and asked me if I knew a man named Sargent M. McNeil from the United Nations. Well, of course, I didn't, but I picked up the phone and then I said, "Hello?" The man on the other line said, "You have just been picked to explore the planet of Kappen!"

I was shocked! I said, "I don't think I'm the right person," but he proved me wrong. He told me all my records. He told me to ask these people if they wanted to help : Shella D., Kaitlyn K., Jerusalem A., Xochitl T., Genesis M., Damien S., Scruffy P., and last but not least, my brother, Josh P. They all agreed to help.

The next day, Sargent M. McNeil from the United Nations came to my door. We picked up all of my friends and went to the training center. We were all excited that we get to go to Kappen. It was really hard. We had to have all these tests and needles for all types of diseases. It was really tough. They were all mad at me, but when it was time to go on our trip, we were all so happy. They said it would take us month to get there. We were upset that it would take so long, but when he told us it would feel like a week, our courage bounced right back up!

When we were in the spaceship I was excited, scared, and all around freaked. It was really fun when the spaceship was taking off and we had a little device that lets us see our parents. They have a little device to see us while we were taking off to Kappen. It was a really bumpy ride. Scruffy had a special suit custom made just for him to go out in outer space. It was really tough for everyone, but we got through it.

The next day we got hit by an asteroid, and Scruffy, the mechanic, went and fixed it right away. It wasn't a hard hit, but it did hit some wires.

At the end of the month, we could see Kappen already. We were all excited when we landed on Kappen. The oldest and wisest Kappion, named Missy, came up to me. She said, " Hello dear Earthlings," she said, " We have been waiting for you for a month and you have finally arrived." Missy was very nice. Her grand-kappion, Jounor, and his pet, Spikey-Fluff, were really nice, too.

We all loved our trip. They said earthlings may come to live on Kappen.

It was time to go back. Missy was willing to come back to earth with us. We were more than welcome to have her come home with us. We were on our way back when Missy got sick and had to go back and get some medicine, but she still wanted to come back with us, again. And she did. It was still a bumpy ride, but we got through it and safely landed on Earth. In one week, one person would be shot into space in a Hypo-Jet. Everyone was amazed how fast the Hypo-Jet went.

So that is my story, oh yeah, we all lived happily ever after!

The End!?!

Report to the United Nations

This is Captain Nicole. My trip to Kappen was a success. The Kappions said they would be kind enough to help us build houses our own way. On Kappen there is water, sun light, food (the kind we like, and different kinds), of course shelter, and last but not least, oxygen. They also have electricity (they use everything by solarpower), electric vehicles (very different style from ours). They have malls, they have virtual money, and there is no such thing as crime on Kappen. The best of all is when everyone enters the atmosphere, they begin to know everything about Kappen, even their languages.

This is Captain Nicole saying, "BYE!"

See you soon,

Captain Nicole
