The Adventure to Kappen

United Nations just called me and my friends to make a trip to a planet named Kappen because Earth was losing its resources. Kappen has lots of resources. It will take time to get ready to go. We have to pack food and some water. "This is not going to be a normal vacation," I said". "I hope it is easy". We also have to pack weapons to protect us.
There are four of us. Our names are Josh, Shane, Daniel and me. My name is Harlan. Josh is my pilot, Shane is my scientist, Daniel is my doctor and I am the captain. We are trained to protect ourselves with the weapons we packed. We are leaving today when we are done packing. We have everything we need: cloths, guns, cameras, doctor's equipment, laboratory equipment, tree seeds, vegetable seeds, fruit seeds and more. We are phoning the United Nations to tell them we are on our way to the rocket. We finally got there. Time to strap up ...click... there. countdown 5,4,3,2,1 ... Blast off! We are now exiting Earth's atmosphere and entering space. It took us about 10 hours to get to Kappen. We left Earth at 9:30 pm and Got there at 7:30 am. It took a long time to get to Kappen. I didn't think it was as big as Earth but it looks just a little bit smaller. We finally arrived. It was not as good as we expected. We thought it would be nice and quiet with nobody there. But there were strange looking creatures on the planet. It was very unusual. We saw one that looked like a carrot, another that looked like an onion. and another that looked like a celery stick. It was so weird.
"They're vegetables" Daniel said.
"No way" said Josh "It can't be."
I answered both of them "We'll have to find out, Shane needs to study them. We all need to live this is a 100,000 dollar mission . . . twenty five thousand dollars each", I said.
"Well no time to waste", Shane said with a serious face.
Josh stood with excitement "We should enjoy ourselves before danger comes", Josh said with an excited face. One week after staying the four men were being attacked by the veggie varmints. They were firing the guns they had packed in their bags at the varmints and other creatures on Kappen. They got rid of all the mean creatures and kept the friendly ones. It was now a safe place to be. They planted tree seeds and pumpkin seeds and other seeds. The mean veggies are all gone. We are on our way back from Kappen. We left Kappen at 11:30 am and we are now entering Earth atmosphere and we landed safely on Earth. We got out of the ship and looked at the time and it was 9:30 pm. The men were damaged bruised and cut. Josh who had a stab wound on his leg managed to force himself to walk.
The next day we all went to the UN to tell about the trip except for Josh, who was in the hospital and did not go. Wow! Unbelievable you guys actually survived. "Yes" I said to the president of the UN. "It is safe." And the president gave us $100,000 cheque. "25,000 for each of you. I will send troops with astronauts to get resources".
" Well guys" I said "Let's go home."
