Making our Paper Button Blankets

Our class tried to make our own kind of button blanket out of paper. First, we put a red border on three sides of a black sheet of paper.
Next we cut a whale pattern out of white paper and glued it on red construction paper.
Then we had to cut shapes out of the red paper.
After that, we glued the whale onto the black construction paper.
Next, we put the white dots around the border on the paper. We put the white dots on in a pattern. We also put white dots around the whale.
At the end we picked a real shell button for the whale's eye and Ms. Fidler glued it on with a glue gun.
