Room 223 - First Nations Food

Greetings, Anin, Boosho, Tansi!

Our class welcomes you to our website. We did research on traditional native foods. We found out a lot about the buffalo hunt of the Plains Indians. The buffalo hunt and the buffalo were taken with the utmost respect for the animal's life. The Plains Indians were always aware of the sacred circle of life, and would offer prayers of thanks to the spirit of the buffalo for offering its life so others could live.
