The Taj Mahal is located in Northern India. The Taj Mahal is made of white marble and red sandstone. It is 36.6 m high. In the Taj Mahal a dome covers the center of the building. It was built for Mumtaz Mahal when she died in 1629. Twenty thousand workers built the Taj Mahal.
