Here are 20 Math Story
Problems written by and for Grade 2 students. They are in order of difficulty. There
are also links to the ways at least two students have solved the problem. Try to solve them yourself.

Each story problem comes with a link to download and print the story mat. These
story mats can be used in two ways. 1. Students can use them as visuals to solve
the problem that these grade two students wrote. 2. Students can use them to
create many, many more story problems of their own for others to solve.
