This is an example of an Inuit applique wall hanging by Jessie Oonark. It is made with felt, embroidery floss, thread, and cotton. It shows a figure in striped clothing. This was important to the Inuit because they needed clothing and some ulus to cut clothing.
This is my applique wall hanging. I made it with thread, a needle, fleece and felt. It shows a wolf and a lemming. I made it because the wolf eats the old and weak. by Theressa |
