This is an example of an applique wall hanging by Jamasie Mike. This is made by sewing with felt applique and embroidery. It shows a snowy owl, husky, raw fish, igloo, a sun and a fishing spear. This was important to the Inuit because they can travel with a husky, they can eat the fish, and get help.
This is my applique wall hanging. I made it out of felt and thread and I sewed it with a needle. It shows a polar bear and a sun. I made it because the Inuit learned how to fish by the polar bear. by Jay Jay |
