This is an example of an Inuit applique wall hanging by Irene Avaalaqiaq Tiktaalaaq. It is made with duffle and felt and embroidery floss. It shows Good and Evil. This was important to the Inuit because if the Inuit were good, they were rewarded with lots of food.

This is my applique wall hanging. I made it by drawing a picture on felt and cutting it out. Then I sewed it with thread and needle on fleece. It shows a seal sliding on the ice. I made it because the seal gave them food, clothing, tools, and fuel.
