This is an example of an Inuit print by Alec Aliknak Banksland. It is made by carving the image in stone, then rolling paint on it, and taking a certain type of cloth and pressing it on the stone. It is called "Sudden Awakening" and shows an Inuit man in an igloo and a polar bear breaking through hoping to eat him. This was made because the Inuit love to show real life and what could happen on the cold and icy lands through art work.

This is my print. I made it by carving a picture on styrofoam. Then I rolled paint on the styrofoam. I put paper on the styrofoam and pressed on it .It shows a sun and stars and fish. Fish is important food for the Inuit people and also it can stay light and dark outside for months at a time.
