This is an example of an Inuit mask. It is made by carving wood, painting it and adding feathers. It shows a ptarmigan and a spirit. This was important to the Inuit because you could use the feathers for clothing and the eggs for eating.

This is my mask. I made it by carving clay and painting it. It shows a walrus spirit. I made it because we are learning about Inuit art.
