This is an example of an Inuit mask by Edward Kiokun. It is made by carving wood and painting it. Smaller decorations were added. It shows a loon spirit. This is important because the Inuit wish for lots of animals in their hunting.

This is my mask. I made it by carving clay, painting it, and adding feathers. It shows an owl spirit. I made it because we are learning about Inuit art. The owl was the spirit that looked after the people and animals and it was in a lot of legends.
