This is an example of an Inuit engraving. It is made with an antler. Then a picture is carved. Then ink is put in the carving. It shows a fish, a walrus, a kayak, and Inuit trading. This was important to the Inuit because they need food from the walrus and fish. They need to travel in a kayak.

This is my engraving. I made it by folding paper. I drew a picture. I opened it and put crayon on the back. I closed it. I traced it again. It shows an igloo, the sun, a fish, a man, and a dog. I made it because the igloo is the snow house. The fish is for food. The husky pulls the sled.
