This is an example of an Inuit sculpture by Iola Abraham Ikkidluak. It is made of carved and polished stone. It shows some polar bears fighting. This was important to the Inuit because the polar bear taught the Inuit how to hunt seal and the polar bear gave them fur and meat.

This is my Inuit soapstone sculpture. I made it by filing it. Then I polished it with sandpaper. It shows a harpoon. I made it because the Inuit use harpoons for hunting seals and whales.
