Arctic Habitat
The water is very cold because they like it when it is very cold to catch fish. The ground is flat. Sometimes you are not standing on the ground because it is ice frozen. In summer there is lots of grass. There are no trees in the Arctic habitat. There are grass and flowers in summer. The blizzards are just snow. There is snow in the arctic habitat. The ground stays frozen all year round with only the surface thawing out. This is called permafrost.
Appearance
The bears have white, thick fur. All the polar bears have big sharp teeth. Polar bears have black noses. All the polar bears have wide plaws with sharp claws. The polar bear is very large. All the polars bears male polars are 2.4 to 3.4 meter long. All the polar bears have a long body and have a long neck and have a long head. They have short furry ears.
Food
Bears like eating seals, fish, berries, seaweed, grass, eggs and garbage when they can't find any other food.
Adaptations
The polar bear has a thick heavy coat of white fur. Under the fur is a layer of fat that keeps it warm. It has a black nose and can smell its prey from far away. Its black eyes can see very far and long sharp black claws also help the bear catch food. It has wide paws that helps him swim. The furry sole keeps it from falling and slipping on the ice.

The polar bears enemies are people.

The polar bears can go for a week without eating because they have a big stomach. The polar bear can stay under water for 2 mins. A baby polar bear can fit in your hand because it's small. The adult male can be 3.4 metres long. The polar bear can kill a seal with one swat of its paw.
