Arctic Habitat

In summer the sun never sets. In the Arctic the summer is very short. In the Arctic there are many blizzards. There are icebergs. It's called the Arctic tundra because it's close to the north pole. Plants that grow in the Arctic are short. In the Arctic the water is very cold. It's treeless in the Arctic. In the Arctic you think you're standing on ground but you're really standing on a piece of frozen water.

Appearance

The Arctic wolf is brown in summer and white in winter. It is covered with fur. It has a dark nose. It has thick fur. It has pointy ears. The arctic wolf has sharp claws and a long tail.

Food

The Arctic wolf likes to eat arctic hare, ptarmigan, caribou carcass, lemming, caribou, ground squirrel and a muskrat.

Enemies

The Arctic wolf's enemies are other wolves, bears and people.

Adaptation

The Arctic wolf adaptation is that it has thick fur that keeps it warm.
