It's called the arctic tundra because it's so close to the north pole. The arctic is treeless. There is grass in the arctic. There are lots of flowers, too. It can be hot in summer. The arctic habitat is found in Canada, Alaska, Europe and Asia.

The polar bear can swim 100 km. from shore. The polar bear can kill seal with one swat with his paw. The baby polar bear can fit in the palm of your hand. The polar bear can swim up to 95 km without stopping. They can stay under water for 2 minutes with out coming up for air. The polar bear can go up without eating for weeks.
