Video Production 11G

The purpose of the course is to provide students with the skills and knowledge to tell stories by combining sound, still images, moving images, text and lighting in a video product. Students will become familiar with digital filming and editing equipment in order to complete the required class and out of class projects. By the end of the course, students will be able to submit a complete product encompassing the entire process of filming from concept to final viewing format. Students will use many different mediums (music videos, short films, documentaries, nets...) in order to become well versed in the film making and film editing world. There will also be an emphasis on what it takes to be in front of the camera as well as behind the lens.

 
 
 

Video Production 21G

This course will allow students to delve deeper into the popular and ever-changing video production studies. Students learn and continue to develop skills in scriptwriting, videography and technical editing in both individual and group formats. Upon completion, students will be given a DVD portfolio of all their assignments.
