Welcome to Grant Park

Grant Park offers a wide array of programs for its students, including: the general high school diploma program, an advanced placement stream, a flexible learning program( 7- grade 10) and a large special education (7-grade 12) program.

Grant Park High School is a secondary school (grades 7 - 12, ages 12-18) located in the south end of the City of Winnipeg, Province of Manitoba, Canada. The school is part of the Winnipeg School Division No. 1, the largest school division in the Province of Manitoba. Grant Park first opened its doors to the south end community in 1959.

From our acclaimed advanced placement, visual and performing arts and special education programs to our extensive offerings in the industrial arts and home econcomics areas to a multitude of elective opportunities, Grant Park has quality programs to benefit all of our students.

Complementing this wide diversity of programs, the school offers an extensive variety of special interest options in the Visual and Performing Arts, French, Spanish, Industrial Arts, Home Economics, Debating, Drama, Leadership.

In addition to the many credit course offerings, Grant Park provides students with a multitude of extra-curricular opportunities. The 'Pirate' colours are proudly displayed on our interschool athletic teams: football, basketball, volleyball, track and field, water polo, soccer, rugby, cheerleading, hockey, curling and wrestling.
