Gimli Field Work - Oct 5th

The Environmental Science class went to Gimli to board the Lake Winnipeg Research Consortium's ship Namao for a full-day excursion to sample on Lake Winnipeg! Students researched the issues facing the Lake and then got to see scientists in action on board the ship. We took back plankton samples as well as water samples that were analyzed in our lab at school for dissolved oxygen content and coliform and e.coli bacteria!
