A student group for Lesbian, Bisexual, Gay, Transgendered, Two-Spirited (LBGTT) and questioning youth, together with their straight friends and allies! |
Endorsed by the administration, parent council and staff, Grant Park's GSA was launched in the Spring of 2002. One goal of the GSA is to eliminate violence, harassment and discrimination by educating the school community about homophobia and encouraging a greater degree of understanding from students and staff. the GSA gives students a safe place to discuss their feelings and fears related to sexual orientation, and to share their own experiences of homophobia. Students meet at lunch hours or after school on a monthly basis. Look for our posters or talk to Mr. Patenaude in Room 24 for more information! |
