claimed his first olympic winter games medal .The sweep was the first for
the United
States in the winter games since 1956 when Hayes Alan Jenkink led a mens
figure
skating sweep.

Danny had a stellar season in 2000-2001 winning the overall mens U.S.
Grand Prix
Halfpipe title, the X-Games Halfpipe and the U.S. Open Halfpipe competitions.
He says
his biggest victory was the U.S Open and that he won it by going lofty and
consistently
landing big tricks. His older brother, Matt, invented one of Dannys
signature moves. He
says the hardest tricks he does are the cab 1080 and back flip, which he
lands more
consistently.
