Why I Chose To Research About Jennifer Robinson

I wanted to research about Jennifer Robinson because she

does very well in skating. I also chose her because she is a

figure skater and I’m a figure skater too. I also did too

because I wanted to be a figure skater since I was 8 years

old. She wanted to be a figure skater since she was 8 years

old.

1976. She is born in Goodrich,Ontario. Her height is 1.7m or 5’ 7” . Her weight is 55kg

or 121lbs. Jennifer Robinson’s sport is figure skating. She performs in the ladies figure

skating. She competes for Canada.

Highs and Lows

Jennifer Robinson has been competing at alot of events since 1995. Jennifer Robinson

placed a career best at the 2000 world championships in Nice, France. She said that it was

also the best result for a Canadian women at a world championships or at the Olympic

winter games since Josee Chouinard won 5th place at 1994 world championships in

Chiba, Japan. However Jennifer Robinson struggled at the 2001 world championships that

was held in front of the home crowd in Vancouver, Canada. She finished in 15th place

after touching the ice with her hands three times during her free skate. Jennifer Robinson

says the problem was not the home town pressure, but pressure she put on her.

Training and Music

In the 2001-2002 season,Jennifer Robinson won four senior Canadian national

titles,including three in a row from 1999-2001. She placed 10th place at the world junior

championships in 1994. Jennifer Robinson has been coached by Michelle and Doug

Leigh at Mariposa school of skating in Barrie,Canada. Jennifer Robinson has a girl

named Lori Nickel who helps her on her figure skating moves and adds it to music. Her

most difficult skill is a triple salchow-triple loop combination, the second element in her

free skate.

Past and Future

Jennifer Robinson has been hooked on figure skating since age 8 when she had watched

an ice capades show. She wanted to sign up for skating lessons that next day. She wants

to attend a broadcast journalism school in Toronto after her skating career is over.

Things I Found Interesting About Jennifer Robinson

I found interesting is that Jennifer Robinson has been hooked on figure skating since age

8. Also that she took 8th place at the Olympics. What I also found interesting is that

she’s almost done her skating career already.
