Eric Carle

Students from room 304 have worked very hard to create collages inspired by writer/illustrator Eric Carle. They spent many hours working on look-draws of different animals, as well as making textured paper, using a variety of painting techniques. Each student chose an animal, first creating a detailed drawing, then choosing the colors and textures to give shape to the selected animals. The result is an interesting array of artistic representations, each picture with its own style, speaking to the unique talent and ability of each child.
