Our names are Serey and Carlou. Our project was called Gassy Vegetables. In our project we tested which kind of vegetables (fresh, frozen and canned) would produce the most gas.

We chose this experiment because we thought it was original and nobody else would be doing this project. Our purpose was to see what kind of vegetable canned, frozen or fresh will produce the most gas. Our prediction was that the canned vegetable would produce the most gas.

First off I had to crush up the carrots with a spoon. I then put the carrots into the test tubes and I added the vinegar. The materials for the experiment were spoons, test tubes, carrots and vinegar.

The results of our science project were that the fresh vegetables produced the most gas. We think it is like that because it grows more bacteria and because it is the perfect place for bacteria to grow.

The conclusion was that the fresh vegetables produced the most gas out of the 3 different packages of carrots. The application is for people to find out which foods to eat and which not to eat.

The easiest part was gluing everything to the backboard. The hardest thing was probably being judged. The one thing we found surprising was that the fresh vegetable produced the most gas instead of the canned vegetable.

I think that my partner and I will do fairly well because our science project is original. If we could change one thing in our project. We would try to change the types of vegetables.

The thing that would improve science fair is that they should have better awards. Instead of a ribbon they should give us a ribbon or something.

The most important thing I learned is that there are gases in vegetables.
