Lung Capacity

Problem
Who has a bigger Lung Capacity + Trunks? Younger Or Older
Hypothesis
Our Hypothesis is That Grade 8 In The Age of 14, Lung Capacity of 3.5 And the Size of Trunks:30 Inches Would Get The Highest
Materials
-20 Litre Jug
-Measuring Cup 1 Litre
-2 Rubber Tubes( 1 Short, 1 Long)
-10 (8 Inch) Transparent Tubes
-Plastic Rectangular Tray
-Measuring Tape
-Pen + Paper
-H2O
Method
1-Get Materials, Get 20 Litre Jug And Cut 2 Holes Right Against The Top.
Cut The 10 Transparent Tubes In Half.
2-Start Filling the 20 Litre Jug With Water, *NOTICE* Fill it in Litres, Fill Litre By Using a 1 Litre Measuring Cup. Fill The 1 Litre flask To The Line. Then Pour The Water In. Write a Line Recording That It's 1 Litre.
Repeat That Till The Top. Also Fill The Rectangular Tray With H2O.
3-Once Done, Flip The Jug Upside Down On The Rectangular Tray.
4-Take 2 Plastic Tubes, Place 1 Plastic Tube On 1 End And Place The Other 1 On The Other End, Place 1 Tube On that Hole You Made.
5-Gather People/Students And Tell Them To Blow Into The Tube As Hard As They can. Then Record it. And Test Another Person.
6-Record How Big Their Trunks is And Record It.
7-When The Water is Out, Repeat Steps 2-5, Then Repeat Step 6 After.
*NOTICE* Do As Much People As You Can
Results
The Students Of the Lung Capacity of 1, There was 14 Students/People
The Students Of The Lung Capacity of 1.5, There Was 1 of Them
The Students Of The Lung Capacity Of 2, There Was 13 Of Them
The Students Of The Lung Capacity Of 2.5, There Was 7 Of Them
The Students Of The Lung Capacity of 3, There Was 17 Of Them
The Students Of The Lung Capacity of 3.5, There Was 2 Of Them
The Students Of The Lung Capacity Of 4, There Was 4 Of Them
The Students Of The Lung Capacity of 5, There Was Only 1
Observation
My Partner And I Seen People Turing Red When They Tried To Blow As Hard As They Could Into The Tube.
Conclusion
Our Conclusion Is That People/Students With The Age Of 13, Size 30-30.5 Is The People With The Largest Capacity.
So We Reject Our Hypothesis
Application
It's Going To Help People Survive Under Water.
-They'll Know How Long They Should Hold Their Breathe Under Water.
-Improve Their Health By Increasing Their Lung Capacity.
