HI!!! Welcome to my page!!! our science project is about generating electricity from potatoes. Also my partner's name is Julius.
TheME: bLue N' BLacK
MAteRiaLs: Eight potatoes, strips of copper and zinc, a light bulb with holder, and copper wiring.
THOuGhtS: I kinda like my project, it was cool doing it. We generated electricity from potatoes. But, we never got to finish our backboard. We we're really busy doing the project.
PRoJecT: We are trying to generating electricity from potatoes.
PRoBLeM: How do you generate electricity from potatoes???
HYPotHeSis: The electric currents from the potatoes will go through the copper and zinc strips and through the copper wiring to the light bulb, to light it up
MeTHoD: Put all eight potatoes in 2 rows and insert strips of copper and zinc into the potatoes with the copper wiring. Then hook it up to the light bulb.
ObSerVatIOn: The electric currents from the potatoes go through the strips of copper and zinc to the copper wiring. Then it goes to the light bulb to light it up.

CONcluSiOn: I guess my hypothesis was right, potatoes really have electricity in it. But one problem was that the electricity only lasted for a few seconds. AppLiCAtiOn: I think this will help in real life; so we don't have to use real electricity from the earth. Electricity in a "non-renewable resource". I learned it in "Social Studies". |
