Hi, my name is Bianca and my partner is Samantha
and we are doing about water filters
All about our project:
Problem:
What will be the best water filter?
Hypothsis:
I think that sand will be the
best water filter.
Materials:
-1 litre container
-1 measuring cup
-1/4 of charcoal
-1/4 of sand
-1/4 of soil
-some cotton
-8 plastic cup
Method:
-first poke 5 holes on the 4 cups.
-pour 1/2 materials in the cup.
-pour 1/4 of water in each cup
-and then let it all drip
-after all it is drained measure it and graph it.
observation:
We observed that the sand filter let most of the water through
but it was the dirty filter, but then the cotton filter didn't let the most
water through but it as the cleanest.
Conclusion:
We reject our hypothesis, because we were wrong
about our hypothesis and we though that sand will be
the cleanest water filter.
Application:
dirty water and the clean water. it will help the
world to let them choose which is the cleanest water
filter.
