Welcome to General Wolfe School. General Wolfe is a Junior High School with grades 7, 8 and 9. The student population is approximately 450 students. Our school offers all of the required academic programs. In addition, we also offer students courses such as Band, Jazz Band, Steel Band, Native Studies, Human Rights, Cross-Cultural Studies, Business Ventures, Video Production, Fine Arts and English as an Additional Language. |

As well as our history of strong academic programming, we also offer the opportunity for students to become involved in many sports teams and activities including Cross-country, Volleyball, Basketball, Flag Football, Outdoor Track, Soccer and Softball. |

Students at General Wolfe represent many different cultural backgrounds. We pride ourselves on our diversity and celebrate it through many different activities throughout the school year. |

Grad News Grade 9 Dinner and Dance Tickets will be on sale May 15, 2007 to May 31, 2007. Cost: $30.00 per ticket. This includes venue, buffet dinner, live band, sundae bar, unlimited soft drinks, etc. Place: Hilton Suites Hotel - 1800 Wellington Avenue Time: 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. See Mrs. Rautavuori anytime for a ticket. All Students need to be picked up at 11:00 p.m.! |
NEWS from the NOOK
The Nook is the school's
canteen. It is open Monday - Friday 11:45am-12:05pm. It
is also open in the morning from 8:30am - 8:45am.
Food items include: Pizza Pops, Egg Rolls, Tacquitos, Burgers, Muffins, Pizzas and Cheese Stix, etc. Please support your Nook!

Lunch Program Did you know that General Wolfe offers a parent-run lunch room? For $1 a day or $20 per month your child can eat in the quiet safety of the lunch room. Microwave ovens are available for heating your own food or the Nook sells hot lunches also. |
DRAMA CLUB The General Wolfe Drama Club has formed with Lilly Grant-Smith as its informal president. Lilly has written an adapted version of Cinderella and students have been reading the script and preparing to perform. Lilly will be directing while Alba Cisneros will star as Cinderella. Look for the production sometime in May! |
