We had been studying the art of Norval Morrisseau. We had done our preliminary drawings of animals and now we were going to learn from Mr. Halas how to make our watercolours in Norval Morrisseau's style.

We had outlined our drawing with black glue, to give a dramatic black raised line.  Now Mr. Halas showed us how to paint in the watercolours.

We learned that we needed to use a variety of colours in each space.

Now it was our turn to apply the watercolours.
