Why Foxes Run Fast and Why Bears Have Short Tails

I dedicate this book to my teacher, class and family.

One thousand years ago foxes weren't fast runners, bears had long tails and rocket blasters were rarely used.
So one day a Fox went for a walk and met his friend bear.  They went for a walk together. Farther down the road they met a young man.
He had an unusual rocket.  Fox asked, "Can I use your rocket?"

The man answered, "Yes."

The fox got on the rocket and it blasted off.  The Fox jumped off and the rocket crashed and exploded.
The fox zoomed back without the rocket.  When the Fox was practically back, the bear got behind him and his tail got burnt off from the hot air.
The fox announced, "I can run."
The bear announced, "I have a short tail."

The man announced, "The rocket works."
