Appreciating, Interpreting and Participating in Aboriginal Art

Room 17, Grade 5

We started our study with a discussion about aboriginal art.  What is it like?  How did they know what animals looked like inside?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

7.  We were then ready to begin our finished project.  We used watercolour paper to draw our picture on.  Black glue gave us a crisp, bold outline.  We used water colour paints in warm and cool tones.  Salt was used to sprinkle on the wet paint for a special effect.
