Notice of the Canadian MedicAlert®Foundation

The Canadian MedicAlert®Foundation is in partnership with our School Division to provide Faraday School’s Community with a program called No Child Without® to help our families with children who have health conditions.  The service provides membership to  MedicAlert, which can improve the health and safety of Faraday students.  A child’s health condition engraved on a bracelet or necklet can ensure immediate care by home, school staff and medical personnel.

 Each child will be receiving MedicAlert information to take home to their parents/guardians in the near future.  Students between the ages of 4 – 14 years of age attending Faraday School are candidates for this program. Should parents/guardians have any questions upon receiving the information, please feel free to contact the Canadian MedicAlert®Foundation directly. 

 Participation in the program is dependent upon the parents/guardians.  It is important that parents/guardians are aware that Faraday School is not part of the MedicAlert program.   We do acknowledge that the service they provide can enhance the school’s safety plan and ensure the health and care of our students.
