Faraday Early Years Nursery Program

 

Philosophy:

The belief that all children should have the opportunity to grow and learn to their fullest potential is the prevailing philosophy behind the Nursery Program at Faraday School. The children are each recognized as individuals with a

different timetable for growing and learning. To help children reach their fullest potential, the teacher must know how each child grows, thinks, interacts and feels. With this information the teacher can plan appropriate experiences for her/him. It is the responsibility of the Nursery teacher to ensure that each child experiences both success and enjoyment in learning and developing each day. The single most important factor in achieving this success is the development of a good oral language base. From this philosophy the following objectives evolved.
