Welcoming Messages  from our Principals

Finally, we are able to say that spring has arrived!  We have gone through a frosty, bitterly cold, long winter!  The snow is gone and now it is time to clean our school grounds and   neighbourhood.  Just as we have in the past, the students of Faraday will be participating in the community Take Pride Spring Clean-Up during the week of May 19th - 23rd.  We want our students to acknowledge the importance of community and take pride in the care we give to our school and its environment.

Furthermore, with finer weather your children are most likely outdoors enjoying the warmth and sunshine.  We encourage you to talk with your son/daughter about the safety rules regarding strangers, bicycle riding, traffic crossing; how very important it is to    communicate with you in letting you know where they are going with their friends.  It is so necessary for families to take an interest in the child’s activities.

April has been a very busy month!  The students put on an amazing performance, “The Emperor’s New Clothes.”  The wide array of activities carried out by the Gr. 4 – 6       students demonstrated a keen interest in the Spring Musical Performance. Thank you to the staff for their tireless effort to assist the children to show off their talents and shine before you.  We are proud of them!

Many times, Faraday School comes into contact with individuals willing to give their time to help students in the development of their academic concepts and skills.  The Volunteer     Reception and Assembly on Friday, May 2nd  is one way to extend our appreciation of the generosity and gift of time that volunteers offer to our students.  We look forward to    seeing you at the gathering to extend our appreciation.  Thank you for all that you do for our students and School.

Mr. R. Cockrem, Principal

Ms. J. Tourangeau, Vice-principal
