Welcome to Room 22!

We have just finished reading "Kalifax" by Winnipeg author Duncan Thornton.  We sent Mr. Thornton an e-mail and asked him to visit our classroom.  We were surprised when he e-mailed us back and accepted our invitation! Please see some of the illustrations we made for parts of the story below and some of the pictures that were taken during Mr. Thornton's visit on March 8, 2000.

This pictures shows a warm, nice island with flowers blowing in the wind. This island is miles and  miles and miles away .This event is from the story Kalifax, by Duncan Thorton.
