WELCOME TO THE EDUCATION REVOLUTION!
Here's your chance to take part in an online project that will change the way you think about teaching! By joining SchoolNet's Online Educators' Forums you can discuss issues like training, technology, and early childhood with educators from across the country any time day or night. The ability to converse with your fellow Canadian educators about current issues makes participating in these forums a phenomenal opportunity for personal and professional growth. Whether you've got questions, comments, or just want to listen and learn, SchoolNet's Online Educators Forums are not to be missed.

TELL ME MORE... WHAT'S AN ONLINE FORUM LIKE?
Online conferencing means reading or adding to a sequence of messages on a computer screen. People (in this case, educators) type comments and questions about the forum's subject from their computers, and then submit the messages as part of the "discussion" in the Forum. Individuals participating in a forum do not get together at the same time and converse. Each person can contribute whenever a topic tweaks their interst. All members are identified with first and last names-no one uses nicknames. We think that encourages personal responsibility and professional discussion. Sometimes, on-line talk can wander, repeat itself, and even explode. To keep the discussion productive, the forums have moderators who make members feel welcome and guide the discussion unobtrusively.
