There are three Olympic mascots for the games in Sydney!
Olly the Kookabura

Olly represents friendship at the games. Olly is also the custodian of the 5 rings. He lives i n the highest tree of the Millenium Park.
About the Kookabura: Measuring between 42 and 46 centemetres and weighing in at over half a kilogram the Kookabura is the largest member of is the largest member of the Kingfisher family.
Millie the Echinda:

Millie represents hope and optisim. Living in a stylish burrow under the millenium park, Millie is a whiz with technology.
About the Echinda: With it's bristling spines and long pointed snout the echinda or "Spiny Anteater" is found across most of Australia.
Syd the Platypus

Syd represents the enviroment. He is the cheerleader for all the atheletes in the game. Syd is very enviromental.
