These are images taken on November 12, 2005 to show the new Valour Plaza from various perspectives.

Lambert © Valour Road and the Victoria CrossLeo Clarke, Fred Hall, and Robert Shankland, three recipients of the Victoria Cross, lived on Pine Street in Winnipeg before going off to serve in World War I. Some of the photographs show the corner of Valour Road and Portage Avenue with the golden lamp post and citation plaque and the presentation of the first Victoria Cross outside of Britain, in honour of Leo Clarke, at the corner of Portage and Main. On Saturday, November 5, 2005, a new plaza was dedicated at Sargent Avenue and Valour Road to commemorate Clarke, Hall and Shankland.
