After these are used, a search engine’s “advanced search” can locate additional
information on specific concepts and knowledge based queries. Education
Technology on this Asia Tsunami 2004 will be developing in a more permanent form
now that the one year anniversary is past.

Beginning
Earthquake Spawns Tsunamis

Seismic measurements and computer models show estimates of how much the Earth
moved as a result of the quake. The left map is vertical displacement, or
uplift, the right is horizontal motion. Geologists hope to use remote sensing
data, combined with on-site GPS measurements, to evaluate the motion predicted
by these computer models.
