Review of Research Information: Students will review a selection of web resources and do an online search with Key descriptors for the topic. Photographs taken by the teacher in August of 2004 will be used to describe the research activities onboard the Namao. Notes will be made using Literacy Strategies outlined below. 2. Presentation of Project: A PowerPoint show will be developed on the information selected from research topics. They will present some of their project findings in “Quest” format. 3. Assessment: Students will process the information and project with Peer Auditing and Review and Editing as well as Teacher Auditing. A Rubric will be used to assess the process and project. 4. Literacy Strategies: Students will begin with a KWL Literacy Strategy. During the project, they will use the multi-column and 3 Point Approach Literacy Strategies for the “L” section of KWL.
