December 10 is World Human Rights Day. Human Rights is a 24/7 issue that affects everyone. Democratic efforts at a variety of levels have made this issue a world issue. Human Rights are a part of a "Public Policy" for civilized countries. The difference between civilization and chaos in many countries is education that includes education on the public policy of Human Rights. What better place for young adults (a.k.a. students) to acquire and to continue the life long formation of their attitudes and values on Human Rights than within the community of the classroom and their schools.
